Non-Traditional Art Show in the Niles District Library Rotunda
(Hunter Ice Festival)

There is a warming station for the Ice Festival. If you are able to volunteer for a shift at the warming station, please use this form. Thank you!
ELIGIBLE STUDENTS: Students currently enrolled in one of the following programs:
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
Art will be displayed in the following categories:
CATEGORIES:
2-D– Entries that exists primarily on a flat plane. Painting, drawing, photography, printmaking, and most textiles are examples of 2-D work.
* Elementary
* Junior High/High School/Adult Ed
3-D– Entries that occupy space and are intended to be viewed from multiple angles. For example: installations, beading, any type of artwork that can be touched or seen from all sides, is three-dimensional art.
* Elementary
* Junior High/High School/Adult Ed
Prizes will be awarded for the following categories as the result of judging.
1st Prize - $15.00
2nd Prize - $10.00
3rd Prize - $5.00
(In the event of a tie, the prize money will be divided between the winners.)
Collaborative Art - 1st Prize - $10.00 per person, 2nd Prize - $5.00 per person, 3rd Prize - $2.00 per person

Judges will be artists from our community.

- Cedar Lane,
- Homeschool Partnership,
- WAY,
- WAY Forward,
- Other Niles students may be considered if their artwork cannot be displayed in another art show.
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
- Submissions must be made by: January 1, 2020.
- All work must’ve been created in the year 2019.
- All 2D art must be framed or matted. Paintings must be dry.
- Work must be original and signed works by the artist submitting the work.
- All submissions must be in good taste and appropriate for all ages.
- Submissions must be turned in with the registration form by January 1, 2020 - anything after that will not be judged.
